Hosting-VDS is a Russian hosting provider offering virtual server rental services. The company began its operations in 2016. Today, it provides various tools and solutions for a wide range of projects—from small personal blogs to large commercial websites.
Security
The protection of virtual servers is ensured by modern tools to counter cyber threats. For instance, Hosting-VDS provides protection against DDoS attacks at the data link, network, and transport layers. Regular automatic backups are included in the virtual server plans.
Pricing Policy
The company's main page states that such a variety of plans is not available anywhere else. The standard virtual server rental plan starts with a configuration including a 2 vCPU processor, 4 GB of RAM, 45 GB of free NVMe space, and 4 GB of traffic.
As the client's project grows, there will be an opportunity for scaling and upgrading to a more expensive plan, which will include a VPS/VDS virtual server with 5 vCPU, 10 GB of RAM, 100 GB of NVMe disk space, and 10 TB of traffic.
All VPS/VDS rental plans at Hosting-VDS include:

- KVM virtualization;
- IPv4+IPv6/64;
- 10 Gbit/s port;
- Root access;
Linux or Windows operating system, or you can install your own from an ISO image.
If the rental is paid for one year in advance, the client receives a special bonus from the company.
Infrastructure
- The company is registered with RIPE NCC as an LIR and owns its own block of IP addresses.
- Data centers are built to international security standards, featuring autonomous power supply, air conditioning, and fire suppression systems.
- The KVM hypervisor is used to run virtual machines. Servers are assembled with Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors. Installation of Linux, Windows, or a custom ISO image is permitted.
- The following services are included: DDoS attack filtering at L2 - L4 levels, console via VNC, one dedicated IPv4 address and an IPv6 subnet with a /64 prefix, daily backup at no extra charge, freedom to load any operating system, solid-state NVMe drives.
- The port provides speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. After exceeding the traffic volume threshold specified in the plan, the speed is limited to 10 Mbit/s.
Data Centers
The company places server equipment in a Russian data center (in Moscow), as well as in Europe through its partners. This allows choosing a location even for the most demanding and latency-sensitive projects. The data centers housing the server equipment are equipped with state-of-the-art technology: backup power sources, diesel generators, video surveillance, and security. This guarantees the security of client data.
